ALMEIDA: "WINNING WAS ESSENTIAL TODAY"

The Portuguese reacts to the 2-0 triumph

André Almeida talked about the 2-0 win over CD Leganés in his post-match press conference.

A VERY IMPORTANT VICTORY

Every game is a final, all points are important and in every match we have to go for the win. Today the victory was essential and we got it.

A TEAM EFFORT

After going ahead, we defended more, and we pulled together to try to counterattack to score the third and kill off the game. It wasn't possible, but we defended very well and we are all very happy.

GOALS FROM CENTRE BACKS

I'm very happy for both of them. With Diakha, after such a long injury, only he knows what he went through and what he felt with the goal. I'm very happy for him and we're all together with him in the dressing room.

MESTALLA

Since I've been here, Mestalla has helped us a lot. In this difficult situation it will help us and give us a lot of strength. I'm sure we'll get through this.
